Traditional architecture and royal decoration
The front yard is covered with miniature natural scenes of flower gardens, ornamental plants, and rockets which are fully decorated with the “Ngu – Tieu – Canh – Muc” living scene. The house has a slightly low view from outside, with moss-covered roof, creating a natural landscape of tranquility, purity, separate from the bustle of the street market outside.

Step inside is a showy scene, showing the richness of precious wood materials such as Cam Lai, Giang Huong, Go, Go, honey … used to decorate the class, from the roof to the hammock door and the steps. ranks. The architecture of the house in the form of the “Ding”, a total construction area of 200m 2 . The house is built in the style of 3 compartments, 02 wings, consisting of 36 round columns, 6 rows of circular columns from front to back, each row is 6 columns that are completely covered on the stone foundation, the ship’s tiled foundation. In addition, on the left side of the house, there are 3 single-wing doors, except for the front of the house, the remaining 3 sides are built with brick walls. The long yin-yang roof is comfortably long … From the solid roof system, somewhat low, the internal interior is divided into a double wall of false U-shaped creating depth. The array between the wall and the temple is Hoang Phi paintings painted with gold and steel, and the pictures are decorated with antacids on the column.
The middle of the house is a place of solemn worship
In the middle above is the examination of the shrine with the embossed Thu book with the picture of the Four Noble Truths, in the middle of the picture book are three lines of words bearing the titles of the gods to be worshiped. The left side is worshiping the god Apple with the title “Dong Tru Tu Mang”, the middle is worshiping heaven with the title “Hiep Thien Dai De”, the right is worshiping the god of God with the title “Phuc Duc Chanh Than”, the bottom is worshiping the ancestors. For many generations, the two main places of worship are two opposite sentences:

On the right and left sides, there are two very elaborate and unique mother-of-pearl worship. The picture on the right has two words “Hac Math” (long lived as the age of Hac), the picture on the other side says “Qui Linh” (longevity like a sacred turtle). These four words are all conch with stylized writing style, each stroke is the image of birds and flowers forming. The two sides of each shrine are a pair of parallel sentences written in the word “Chan Lu” – a type of word that has not been read yet.

The second layer of the door, all embossed, engraved, etched … completely reflected on the door frames, away from the door. The main door frame is built in the way of Tam Quan, here is a rather majestic picture with a scene with a full moon shape, showing the purple attic floor in the palace. The surface of the doorframe is carved from the Four times, above is the topic “Mai, Lan, Cuc, Truc” below the matching sentence, creating a lively harmony. The section showing the topics on the door is divided into squares, the Japanese square represents Tu Linh: Long with cloudy water waves, Lan with paper, Qui with the lampstand, Seeds with Tung, the four-right patterns. “Mai Lan Cuc Truc” with cleverly detailed frill lines, which are rationally distributed, with subtle touches.
The contoured wind blades in the center of the column are machined, embossed, long-shaped, equidistant from each other, and separated in a standard way. There are many different themes in the building lines, but there are still 02 main decorative projects: Decorative projects based on feudal religious themes such as: Tu Linh; Folk decoration project: taking herbs and fruits as the main theme. Each topic is a representation of a soul, a part of life, a natural scene with many different meanings.
With the closed-scale architecture of the Vietnamese traditional house in the 19th century, the house has left Binh Duong an ancient architectural work, contributing a part of the true ethnic historical-artistic value. valuable, proving the existence and strong development of the land and people of Binh Duong, both in the past and present. It is worth being respected and preserved.
On the two sides of the worship room are two rooms (rooms) of the host; His room and grandmother’s room.
